FactoryIQ – Manufacturing Execution Software
Being a prisoner to your production processes is no joke, I’ve had Excel spreadsheets, noticed boards, magnetic notice boards, but still ended up feeling overwhelmed, out of control and under constant pressure from customers.
One of the biggest things for me was always finding out when it was too late, if I had known at the point of time the sh*t had hit the fan, I could have done something about it and informed the customer at their earliest convenience, which although painful is a damn site better than when their product is past the due date.
In the early late 90’s whilst working as a Senior within Tier 1 Automotive I created the Operations Management Pack, a way of tracking production performance, monitoring machine and asset performance, ensuring problems we’re raised, actioned and completed with accountability across all functions. This programme I still use now within Business Growth Programmes.
This has now led to me to create FactoryIQ working with a leading software developer in 4C Software.
FactoryIQ has been enhanced, massively, taking Production Scheduling, Asset and Production monitoring to the next level, as well as creating a centralised depository linked to all product and assets for Risk Assessments, Works Instructions, Health & Safety Documents, allowing for paperless processes and live updating through a central, cloud based portal.
